Wal-Mart hires and fires new ad agency

After the departure of a top marketing executive that helped Wal-Mart to take up another advertisement agency – Interpublic’s DraftFCB, Wal-Mart has dropped this agency. A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said that the decision was taken after the information that was received from us over past few weeks.

She further added that Wal-Mart has notified DraftFCB of this development and going is to reopen the bid process for its advertising account, which is estimated to be worth more than half a billion dollars. In a statement Interpublic’s said that they were disappointed about this.
