Virgin stops digital download in US

Must Read

In the midst of speculation that digital music market has slowed down, Virgin Megastores has dropped the plans for its digital download service in the US. Earlier Virgin had signed a deal to sell music to its customers with Napster.

The reason that has prompted such decision was that the Consumers trying to visit the Virgin download site in the US were being redirected to Napster’s own e-commerce portal. Though it is not clear how this would affect Virgin’s similar services in UK.
