Croma, the electronics Megastore, opened its 2nd store in Malad, Mumbai. The second store like the first one has a total retail space of 20,000 sq.ft. Croma is a countrywide chain of retail outlets for multi-brand consumer electronics and durables from Infiniti Retail (a 100-per cent subsidiary of Tata Sons) in technical and sourcing agreement with the Australian retail giant, Woolworths, which currently operates more than 2,000 stores across Australia. Woolworths provides Croma with technical support and strategic sourcing facilities from its global retail network.
Infiniti operates in the evolving consumer electronics retail market in India. Its electronics mega store Croma offers the country’s widest range of products across multiple categories and brands. Offering consumers choices in home entertainment, small appliances, white goods, computers, communication, music, imaging and gaming software, Croma is set to expand all over the country with at least 100 stores by 2011. The first Croma store was launched in October 2006 at Juhu, Mumbai.
