Pantaloon Ltd, owned by Kishore Biyani, has planned to make Big Bazaar even bigger. The company has planned to add sections like health and beauty, entertainment and postal services. According to the plan these stores will be called Big Bazaar Supercentres. In the first phase, six Supercentres would be rolled out in Baroda, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Surat and a couple in Bangalore.
The company is also looking to expand in tier I and II cities and planning to take its tally to 300 from present 50 stores.
