Into a mere six months of operational life, Reliance Retail has announced that it will be changing its management structure from a vertical to a store-based format. The changes will be effective from May 1, 2007. The reworked organisational structure will have Bhavdeep Singh as the new Reliance Fresh head; S Radhakrishna as the hypermarket division head, which is likely to be called Reliance Hyper Marts; and Ajay Baijal as the Reliance Digital head, which will be the company’s consumer electronic and IT brand.
