Revolution, the plus-size womenswear brand, is geared to expand its retail horizon by adding 40 more stores across the country in the next two years. “Initially, the brand will invest Rs 4-5 crore and subsequently will spend more to support its retail expansion plans,” Nisha Somaia, director, Revolutions, told Indiaretailing.com. The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 15-20 crore by this fiscal, up from Rs 11 crore during the last financial year.
The New Delhi-based brand, which runs nine company-owned EBOs across NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Dubai, will open three stores in Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai and Bangalore in the next 2-3 months. “You will see a Revolution across major cities in the South, including Chennai and Kochi, in the near future,” Somaia confirmed.
The company has extended its portfolio by adding an exclusive range of nightwear and lingerie for plus-size women. It is also planning to launch footwear in the next one year’s time.
