With a low-profile event at Rajbhavan Road, Hyderabad, Reliance Retail opened its first wellness store called Reliance Wellness.
The store will stock over 5,000 products in various categories including nutrition supplements, skin and personal care, and pharmaceuticals. Besides, it houses an optical shop backed by a qualified ophthalmologist to test and prescribe lenses.
The store offers a Medical Compliance Program for customers who are on long-term medication. They will get reminders and alerts on the use and replenishments, if any.
Around 20 such stores are in line for Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai.
The store will provide free health insurance cover under the customer loyalty programme called RelianceOne. Reliance Retail has tied up with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company to offer group personal accident insurance policy.
