Susil Dungarwal joins Ishanya as chief executive officer. Based in Pune, Ishanya is a speciality mall for home fashion and design. In his earlier assignment, Dungarwal served as head of retail at Emaar MGF, and was based in Mumbai.
Dungarwal has worked for over 22 years in the retail sector in India, across a spectrum of formats including department stores, lifestyle stores, speciality stores, supermarkets, discount stores, rural retail, and mall development and management. He has been associated with companies such as Saint Mark, Big Kids Kemp, Shoppers’ Stop, Lakewood Malls, The Loot, The Forum Mall, and Emaar MGF.
Dungarwal, who has represented the Indian retail industry in various seminars/conferences across the globe, was conferred with the “Indira Super Achievers Award 2006” in November 2006. He was also receiver of “Rashtriya Rattan Award – 2001” for best upcoming retail professional in India.
