Looking at the burgeoning wine market of India, ND Wines has introduced four new wines in the country.
The company, which supplies to retail majors like M&S, Tesco and J Sainsbury, now has 10 domestic wines in its portfolio.
“With growing popularity of our wines in the domestic market, we hope to make our own place under the sun and, thereby, challenge the supremacy that some countries have traditionally had in the international wine market,” said Ashok Gaikwad, chairman, ND Wines.
Priced at Rs 330-490 per bottle, the red wine range includes Galaxy, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, an ideal drink for tandoor-cooked food. Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are additions in the white wine collection.
ND Wines is one of the largest exporters of homegrown grapes.
