With the opening of a store measuring more than 23,000 square feet in Bengaluru today, Relaince Retail officially announced the entry of Reliance Digital, its pilot consumer electronics mega store, in the state of Karnataka.
It is the company’s third chain of electronics mega store in the country, after successfully launching it in Delhi and Mumbai.
According to Ajay Baijal, president and chief executive-Reliance Industries CDIT business, the store will house over 4,000 products of more than 150 brands along with the recommended solution bundles to meet the diverse needs of the customer. Baijal further informed that Reliance Digital will also provide easy and attractive finance options.
The store is slated to remain open seven days a week from 10.30 am to 9.30 pm and will offer all its customers with RelianceOne, a common membership and loyalty program of the group.
Announcing the company’s plans, Bajjal said, “Reliance Digitals, spread across 15,000 to 35,000 square feet, will open in 70 cities across India. Each store is slated to have an investment of around five crore rupees.”
