With a view to promote the game of football to all corners of the world, FIFA is planning to open official stores in India.
Mohamed bin Hammam, member of the executive committee, FIFA, announced related future plans at the opening of the first FIFA Official Store in Singapore. “After Singapore, we are planning to open stores in London, Tokyo, Latin America, China and India,” he stated.
This move, according to Hammam, is in sync with FIFA’s plans to promote the game not just in host countries, but to the member countries as well.
Designers have created five unique clothing lines for the outlet, including vintage-style jerseys, casualwear and high-end apparel.
