Premium Italian fashion house Sixty Group, which is already operating in India, is planning to launch new brands in the Indian market.
“We are planning to launch new fashion brands under the company’s umbrella,” Pradip Mukhim, chief executive officer, Sixty Group, confirmed to Indiaretailing.
The brand, scheduled to be launched very soon, will be targeted towards the youth. The company did not reveal any other detail as it wanted to disclose the facts only at the time of the launch.
Asked if the company planned to open new exclusive brand outlets in the country, Mukhim said, “We don’t have any plans to open new outlets, though we are looking to tie up with other retailers to sell our brands.”
Indiaretailing had earlier reported that the group entered into a joint venture (JV) with Reliance Brands to retail its brands like Miss Sixty, Sixty, Refrigwear, Richlu, and Baracuta.
Talking about this venture, Mukhim informed that the company is doing good business and is planning to tie up with other retailers as well. However, he did not disclose any names as nothing has yet been confirmed.
Presently, Sixty Group brands are available in about 7,000 joints in more than 90 countries worldwide.
