With the opening of the 15,000 square feet Reliance Autozone at Jamnagar in Gujarat, Reliance Retail Limited (RRL), the retailing arm of Reliance Industries Limited, announced its entry in automotive retailing business. This is the eleventh speciality retail format of the company.
“Our vision is to create customer delight by delivering world-class automotive products and services with wide choice, at the best prices,” Arun Dey, chief executive, automotive business, Reliance Retail, told media while inaugurating the first store.
The outlet will primarily focus on maintenance and repairing of two- and four-wheelers, and will also retail automotive accessories, tyres and batteries.
In addition, Reliance Autozone will buy and sell pre-owned two-wheelers and cars.
Announcing the company’s future plans, Dey informed, “In the future, the company will enter the two-wheeler retail space by offering multi-brand choice under one roof.”
