Gardenia India Ltd, the Delhi-based real estate developer is building a shopping mall in Faridabad, NCR, which is expected to be launched by mid-2009.
“The pillars have been built and the construction is on full swing. The mall has been named Gardenia Sky Mall, and is expected to be launched in the middle of next year,” Sanjeev Sharma, director, Gardenia India Ltd, told Indiaretailing.
Sharing details, a source close to the developments said, “The mall is spread in 70,000 square feet in five floors with a night club on the top floor.”
Other than exclusive brand outlets (EBO), the mall will also house stores having branded and non-branded products for women and children. “These outlets will be on the ground floor,” the source added.
Leading brands including Lilliput, Kwality Walls, Lee Cooper, Timex, Duke, Guardian Pharmacy and Catmoss have already agreed to open their EBOs.
The price of the retail space, however, is not yet decided but the company affirmed that it will be in accordance to the existing retail space prices in the area.
The company is in the process of acquiring land to develop more such malls in the NCR.
