S Kumar Nationwide Ltd (SKNL) has acquired a 100 per cent stake in Scottish fashion chain ‘Internacionale.’
Addressing media, Shrikant Hazare, president for marketing and communication, SKNL, said: “S Kumars acquired the Scotland based Internacionale in early May.” However, he declined to divulge any further details.
S Kumars presently retails international brands including Alfred Dunhill and Escada in India and owns the Reid and Taylor, Carmichael House and Belmonte brands.
According to sources, the Scottish company was facing financial crunch and was put to sale last month.
