Kishore Biyani-led Future Group has planned to introduce ‘learning programme’ for its employees by September this year. Named Future Learning and Development, the programme is also open for employees of other companies.
Announcing this, Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited’s chief human resources officer, Kripesh Hariharan, said: “Future Learning and Development will extend residential learning programmes to in-house employees. We also plan to offer the learning programmes to employees from other companies if they approach us.”
Initially, the company has planned to set up three centres in Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Bengaluru. “Over a period of time, we plan to open one more in Delhi along with other parts of the country,” informed Hariharan. Each centre will train around 600 students.
