McDonald’s India, as part of its strategic tie-up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to set up and operate outlets at the latter’s petrol pumps, has opened a restaurant in an HPCL petrol outlet at AS Rao Nagar, Hyderabad. This is the company’s sixth outlet in Hyderabad.
This outlet is spread over an area of around 2,700 square feet and can host around 110 people at a time. McDonald’s will also open two more restaurants at select HPCL retail outlets in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
HPCL executive director (retail) SP Chaudhry said, ”We have entered into several strategic alliances with authoritative partners in the non-fuel arena to cater to the different needs of our consumers.”
