Coimbatore-based Suguna Poultry Farm is planning to sell ready-to-eat poultry food through Daily Fresh, the company’s chain of retail stores.
Announcing the launch of its first franchise retail store in Chennai, B Soundararajan, managing director, Suguna Poultry Farm, said that the company will soon open around 40 outlets in Chennai during this fiscal. It will also open around 100 to 150 stores in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Soundararajan informed that with an investment of around nine crore rupees, the company’s manufacturing unit will be set up in Bengaluru in the next two months. “The facility will produce chicken lollipop and have an annual capacity of 6,000 tonnes. Similar manufacturing units will be set up across 11 states in the next 3-4 years,” he added.
