Real Estate in India has gone beyond offering luxurious homes! The latest is from Nirmal Lifestyle where the group has tied up with United States Tennis Association to set up US Open tennis courts and club houses at its proposed 20 “lifestyle cities” in India. This move comes in with the group’s promise of offering unique features in the twenty lifestyle cities announced by them.
With the tie up, Nirmal Lifestyle will recreate a replica of US Open clubs, villas, a world-class tennis academy and several other features. The investment towards the building of each city is estimated to be about Rs 4,500 crore and this would be spread over 3,000 to 1,000 acres. The company has announced plans to set up five cities in the next three years. Three of these would be on the outskirts of Mumbai and one each at Nashik and Pune. Commenting on this initiative, Dharmesh Jain, chairman and managing director of Nirmal Lifestyle said, “Our idea is to incorporate the essence and spirit of the US Open’s rich 126 year heritage, the champions of the game, the unforgettable matches and combining that with the flamboyance and attitude of New York city, all captured under one roof in a place called HOME! Nirmal Lifestyle architects will be working closely with UTSA and the USTA brand team to incorporate the true essence of the US Open within their architectural landscape”.
