‘STANZA’, the men’s fashion brand, has opened its new flagship store in Bengaluru. Opened in Prestige Emporium Mall at MG Road, this is the first stand-alone store of the company in the city.
Launched in the year of 2004, STANZA is the apparel division of Pokarna Ltd, one of the leading manufacturer’s of premium men’s wear in India with a product range covering classic formal shirts, sport wear, fashion wear and a wide range of classic and casual trousers as well.
This is the 13th stand-alone store of the brand across India and is also present in more than 100 MBOs. The brand is planning to open 25 shops by 2009 and again more than 35 shops by 2010.
According to Rahul Jain, the MD of Pokarna Ltd, “We are a brand with a product of international quality and style that is priced much lesser. There is a wide array of national and international fashion brands in India. This shows a healthy growth of the sector in the country. We welcome the competition as we too are running through a very positive time and hope to grow leaps and bound in the near future.”
The store is more than 3000 square feet in space and expects of around 40 footfalls per day in the beginning and looks forward to more in a month’s time.
