Apparel major Raymond, as part of its aggressive expansion spree, has opened its Delhi store of the newly launched retail chain Be Home.
The store has been opened with an investment of around Rs 300 million and will retail products across six verticals that include bed linen, bath products, dining and kitchen accessories, apparel, spa products and home décor.
During the launch, Robert Lobo, president – home living, Raymond, said, “The premium segment home living market is an evolving one and we want to carve a niche in the segment by offering our range of exclusive products. Around 90 per cent of the collections in our stores would be from the Be Home brand and the rest from other premium foreign brands. We are sourcing our products from both India and other global markets.”
“We are planning eight more stores in the metros and tier I cities by the end of this fiscal and aiming for a turnover of around Rs 7.5 billion within the next three years,” added Lobo.
The store is the brand’s third in the country with two others in Mumbai and Pune. The company is planning to touch the 11 stores mark by this fiscal-end and would also explore the franchise option in later stages.
