Arvind Ltd promoted value retailing arm Megamart has opened the third store of its large format retail chain ‘Megamart Outlet Centre’. This time, it’s in Bengaluru.
Spread across an area of 60,000 square feet, the store retails over 200 Indian and overseas brands including apparel, accessories, luggage, footwear, wellness and electronics.
On the occassion, J Suresh, CEO, Arvind Brands and Retail, said, “With 60,000 square feet retail space, this store is our biggest store and will retail the widest range of collections across product categories that include men, women and kidswear, footwear, accessories, wellness and electronics.”
“We are also planning to open a food-court and an entertainment zone in our store soon,” added Suresh.
Meanwhile, according to the company source, Megamart has appointed a group of trained fashion assistants called ‘Red Squad’ in Outlet Centres to assist the customers in making right choices of the products.
Currently, Megamart Outlet Centre is operational in three cities. With two others in Chennai and Pune, the company also plans to open around 25 Megamart Outlet Centres in top 20 cities over the next four years.
