On the occasion, Ishwar Chugani, executive director, Giordano Fashions India, said, “Mumbai serves as an important economic hub for the country, being the commercial centre of India. Pune is also emerging as a prominent location in India, which makes both these cities ideal for the brand.”
In addition to the stand alone stores, Giordano also operates in Bengaluru through two shop-in-shop outlets within leading department stores and a counter in the new Bangalore International Airport, as part of its plan to operate stores in Airport Duty Free developments. Moreover, Giordano’s expansion plans include three more shop-in-shop counters in department stores that are set to open within the next three months, said a company press release.
