Entertainment major PVR plans to set up 15 fun centres across India by 2012, said a company top official. Branded as BlueO, the centres will come up at shopping malls and will have gaming zones and bowling alleys, said Gautam Dutta, CEO, PVR Cine Media.
In the first stage, the multiplex operator plans to open these centres at 4-5 destinations including Bangalore and Chennai, informed Dutta. However, the first of this centre will come up at Gurgaon within the next two weeks, he added.
Further, the Delhi-based company is also in talks with various brands to set up experience zones to display their products in these centres. While, PVR is in talks with Microsoft and Sony for its gaming zones, wellness product company Osim is being tapped to set up relaxation zones.
