Digital technology major Samsung India has forayed into portable PC segment with a lineup of notebook PCs. Further, the company has also made its entry into netbook segment with the launch of N-series of netbooks.
With features like 1.3 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and HDMI, the notebook line comprises of Premium X series, Mobile Optimum Q series and Mainstream R series.
“Samsung is already present in the segment in Germany and many other Western countries, however this is our maiden entry into the segment in India,” said Ranjit Singh Yadav, director-IT, Samsung India during the launch in New Delhi today.
Terming every satisfied customer of Samsung products as the target consumers, Yadav shared the distribution plan, “In the initial phase, we will be concentrating mainly on all the top eight Indian cities.”
“However, we will be present wherever the consumer will look for the product,” concluded Yadav.
