Under the umbrella of India Fashion Forum 2009 (IIF ’09) culminated one of the most glamorous fashion award extravaganzas, the 9th Annual Images Fashion Awards in Mumbai. Kishore Biyani-led Future Group bagged the honour of the most admired fashion group of the year award. The nominees in the category were Shoppers Stop Ltd, Arvind Group, Raymond Ltd, Future Group, Madura Garments’ Aditya Birla Nuvo and Titan Industries.
The Mumbai-based company operates with 18 diversified categories that include a nationwide chain of stores like Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Pantaloons, Central, HomeTown, eZone, Depot, LootMart, Brand Factory, Scullers, Urbana, Indigo Nation, One Mobile, Staples, Etam, Lee Cooper Sports Bar, Copper Chimney and F123.
The 9th Annual Images Fashion Awards were conferred on the basis of interviews of industry professionals in the business of textiles and fashion and fashion conscious shoppers across seven leading cities in India and a conscious evaluation of the performance of the nominees by an eminent jury comprising of leading industry professionals.
