Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, a major player in the Indian FMCG market with products in personal, hair, household and fabric care segments, has announced Adi Godrej, currently chairman and managing director of the company, as the chairman of the company with effect from April 1, 2009. Further, Dalip Sehgal has been appointed as the new managing director of the company.
In a latest disclosure to Bombay Stock exchange, the company said that Hoshedar Press, currently executive director & president, will be designated as vice chairman.
Meanwhile, Godrej, Sehgal and Press will continue as a whole time director of the company, added the company in the disclosure.
