BIG Cinemas, part of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and Adlabs Films, has opened a three-screen multiplex in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. With this launch, the company has crossed the 100 screens mark in western India, according to a company press release.
Tushar Dhingra, COO, BIG Cinemas, said, “Aurangabad is always a tourists’ destination and is one of the fastest growing towns in the region. People have high expectations and we intend to more than fulfill them with the BIG Cinemas’ international experience.”
Branded Anjali BIG Cinemas, the newly launched cinema is the company’s 25th property in Maharashtra and the 34th in the western region. As part of the plan, Big Cinemas has renovated the existing two-screen cinema Anjali Sangeeta to match with its international standards, added the release.
