Nike direct to consumer operation gets new president

Nike Inc, the global footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories brand for sports and fitness activities, has appointed Jeanne P Jackson as the new president for its direct to consumer operation. As part of her latest assignment, Jeanne will look after retail oriented activities including direct to consumer services to strengthen nationwide retail operations of Nike-owned stores, its affiliate retail stores and digital commerce organizations and will report to Mark Parker, president and CEO, NIKE Inc, according to a company press release.

“Jeanne is one of the most experienced and talented leaders in the retail industry and over the past eight years, she has been a strong and visionary director for our company,” said Mark Parker. “With her leadership, we will better position the company to execute an integrated retail strategy across our entire brand portfolio providing elevated consumer experiences globally.”

Jackson has been working with Nike as director prior to her appointment as president. She has also worked with companies like MSP Capital, Gap, Banana Republic, Walmart.com and is the president of the United States Ski and Snowboard Foundation Board of Trustees, added the release.
