Amalgam Specialty Foods, a group company of Amalgam Investments has introduced a range of culinary freeze dried herbs, spices and seasonings under the brand name – Keya.
The newly launched freeze dried products are available in ready-to-use, easily dispensable, attractive, and re-usable flip top bottles and self grinder bottles for better storage and usability. The range of herbs includes – chives, basil, parsley, oregano, mint and rosemary. Seasonings’ range offers – Japanese seasonings, Chinese seasonings, Thai seasonings, Italian seasonings and salad seasonings. The range of spices includes – cardamom, cinnamon quills, lemon mélange, chilli flakes, nutmeg and more.
The range is currently available in Bangalore, Chennai and Cochin. Further, the company plans to launch these products by June 2009 in other metros and mini metros as well.
The future plans of the company include launching of health snacks under the brand name –Hale and Hearty, apart from canned tuna, pickles and batter mixes in the domestic market.
