Adidas owned Golf retail brand, TaylorMade-Adidas Golf is set to unveil its exclusive speciality golf retail store in Kolkata in the next two months time.
Speaking to IndiaRetailing, Ateet Gaur, country manager, TaylorMade-Adidas Golf said that the next outlet in the pipeline is planned for Kolkata. “The company is still looking for options in terms of the location and size of the upcoming outlet. However, we intend to open a 1,000-1,500 square feet store in the city.”
“The outlet would be launched in around two month’s time,” informed Gaur.
A few months back, Adidas had unveiled the flagship store of its Golf brand at the plush Select Citywalk mall in New Delhi. Adidas believes that Golf is one of the fastest growing urban sports in the country and more and more youngsters are getting attracted to the sport.
As a part of expansion, Adidas is also looking towards tier II and III towns for expansion. At present, TaylorMade-Adidas Golf has two exclusive outlets in Delhi and Bengaluru.
