Marks & Spencer Reliance India, a joint venture between UK’s leading retailer Marks & Spencer and Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has launched its biggest flagship store at the R-City Mall in Mumbai.
Spread over 15,000 square feet across three floors, the new store will offer an international shopping experience to consumers, said a company press release. The extensive range of products include women’s wear, men’s wear, lingerie, beauty care, home décor and the likes. Further, actress Prachi Desai became the first shopper of the store.
On the occassion, Mark Ashman, CEO, Marks & Spencer Reliance India, said, “It is a pleasure to launch our brand new store in Mumbai, the fashion hub of the country. With this new larger store, we are able to offer a much wider range of our products.”
Sharing his views, Sir Richard Stagg, British High Commissioner India added, “Marks & Spencer is an iconic brand in the UK that is known for its excellent quality and value. It is exciting to see the brand expanding in India and partnering with one of India’s leading business houses Reliance Industries. This is another step in strengthening the UK, India relationship.”
