The home grown brand of womens footwear, Catwalk is truly going to live up to its international feel with the first of its kind of corporate collection, according to the company. The manufacturing is in process and the new collections are expected to be available at the stores latest by September end this year.
Asif Merchant, director of Catwalk Worldwide Pvt Ltd, shares, “The shoe components and other material are coming mostly from the European markets. These formal yet fashionable shoes are aimed to boost the concept of power dressing for women like never before.” Bipasha Basu’s character in the film Corporate has certainly been an inspiration for them to launch this collection, added Merchant.
The colours will be the basic blacks and browns to begin with incorporating slight variations in shades through matt finish looks. But the range of the designs will be quiet wide to choose from closed shoes to boots, slip ons and the likes. The TPR soles will come in 2, 2 ½, 3 inch heels. The price points would vary between Rs.1250 – 2400. Catwalk has 100 stores across India and plans to come up with 50 more and also venture into the tier 2 cities as well. They are also planning to come up with exclusive stores for the teenagers only with a catchline ’25 is too old’.
