Shrinagar-based multiplex player Fame Cinemas, part of Fame India Ltd, has opened a five-screen multiplex at Kalyan in Mumbai. Fame Kalyan, the newly launched multiplex, is the 22nd property of the chain across India, the company informed in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Fame Kalyan has a total of 1320 seats, including 46 seats, which offer gold class facility.
Currently, the company is operational with 79 screens in India across cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Nashik, Kolkata and plan to expand in cities that include Aurangabad, Pune, Surat, Allahabad and Hyderabad.
