Himalya International, which is claimed to be the first frozen food company in India which processes mushrooms, buffalo cheese and baby potatoes, has rolled-out a host of food products across India.
In an exclusive interview, Yash Verma, Head of marketing at Himalya International informs, “We have inducted a new range of ‘Himalya Fresh’ products in North India, which include Fresh Mushrooms packaged in punnet boxes, Full Fat Yogurt, Zero Fat Yogurt, Real Fruit Yogurts and a large range of Indian ethnic sweets. While some of these have already been present in the market, a nation wide roll-out has been initiated owing to encouraging demand from the consumers. ”
“In the South, West and Eastern zones we are going to have Breaded Appetizers, Real Fruit Yogurts, Italian Cheese and Indian Ethnic Sweets like Kaju Barfi, Milk Cake, Dhoda Barfi, Panjiri Laddu, Kesar Badam Laddu, Ras Malai, Gulab Jamun, Gujia and many others,” Verma further informs.
Himalya International is also set to launch its range of frozen parathas under the brand name, ‘Himalya Fresh’. Verma says, “We would be launching a vast variety of Frozen Paranthas, Chapattis and ready to eat curries also.”
Besides these, Himalya International under the brand name—‘Daily1’ is launching its micronutrients enriched health based caplets for men and women.
Verma informed that Himalya International is tying up with almost all the supermarkets and cash and carry stores in India for the roll-out of these products. Himalya has already tied up with Best Price Modern Wholesale for its newly introduced products.
Verma states, “High acceptance of 100 percent natural, pesticide and preservative free products and their tastes has motivated us to bring these offerings to the middle and upper middle class segment of consumers in India.”
