Fame India Ltd launched two new multiplexes — Fame Cinemas in Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Baroda (Gujrat).
Fame has informed BSE that w.e.f. July 31, 2009, the Company has commenced operations at two new multiplexes. The newly opened Fame Multiplex in Bengaluru is located at the Forum Value Mall in Whitefield, which consists of five screens including one exclusive Gold Class screen of 51 seats which is accompanied with an exclusive Gold Class Lounge. With the introduction of Fame Forum Value Mall, Fame now has the privilege of owning three properties in the city of Bengaluru and has an overall seating capacity of 781 seats and has one of the largest footprints among the multiplex players in the city.
The second property is located at the Seven Seas Mall in Fatehganj, Baroda, which consists of four screens and 1116 seats, including 25 Gold Class seats. This is also Fame’s first property in Baroda. With this, total number of operational properties and screens of the Company are 24 and 88 respectively, including the above.
