India`s first Men`s Fashion Week from September 11 to 13 at The Grand Hotel,Vasant Kunj, New Delhi brought out a variety of styles – the verdict is that men are in a phase of experimentation.
The styles included short with swept back looks as well as waves, spikes, pony tails. Here are some of the highlights:
Short hair: Side-partings showing off a clean forehead, spiked hair at the crown or a whole head of spiked styles. Natural short hair styles pre-dominated. Models with short hairstyles were seen walking ramp for designers Ravi Bajaj, Narendra Kumar, Siddharth Tytler, Nitin Bal Chauhan, etc.
Mid-length hair: Hair below the jaw line falling in waves or with a simple straight look and a side parting, as seen in the show by Designers Abhishek Gupta and Nandita Basu, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
Long hair: Indian men are not afraid of pony tails! Half pony tails as well, with a portion tied back and the rest falling over the shoulders. Models with long hair matched with the theme of clothes by several designers such as Rocky S, Rajvi Mohan, Manoviraj Khosla and many more.
