The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) launched the FICCI Wellness Forum in August to take a close look at the Rs 11,000 crore wellness sector.
The new initiative is a step forward for the spa and wellness sector to help represent important issues and challenges for this segment and equip the players to compete globally. “There is great potential to grow but we want the government to recognize our concerns and provide the much needed relief, said Narinder Kumar, Group CFO, VLCC.
Dr Jamuna Pai, Founder, Blush Clinics; Dharram Pratap, Managing Director, Shivaz Spa; Milind Soman, Model and Actor, Breathe Fitness were present at the press event to get the initiative going.
