Samar Singh Sheikhawat has put his papers in Spencer’s Retail Ltd and is set to join Dr. Vijay Mallya’s United Breweries, Bangalore, as a senior vice-president, marketing. Sheikhawat had joined Spencer’s Retail Ltd in March 2006.
Sheikhawat, a post graduate in MBA – Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis, Pune, started his career with Cadbury’s India Ltd and moved to HUL’s sales team. He has also worked with Dabur India Ltd heading its sales and marketing for the Natural Products Business. After a five-year stint with Dabur, he moved to PepsiCo Beverages International and spent six years with the organisation.
