Beauty and skincare brand Forest Essentials opened its new Mumbai flagship store at Juhu. Spread over 600 square feet, the store offers the brand’s whole range of Ayurvedic skin care, hair care and wellness products.
Created in partnership with the Estée Lauder Companies Inc., the store concept blends the best of India’s Ayurvedic traditions with modern retail experience. The brand is planning to add eight more stores this year in cities such as Jaipur, Mumbai and Bangalore; expanding its retail network to 17 self-owned boutiques.
“This new store design expresses the vitality of the brand’s Ayurvedic heritage within a sophisticated retail environment,” said Forest Essentials’ executive director, Samrath Bedi.
“It corresponds to our willingness to increase the brand’s presence and visibility on the Indian market and sets the ground for overseas expansion in the next few years,” he added.
The store’s interior embraces both the modern and the traditional: acrylic, traditional wood, brushed steel with accents of gold leaf that add a luxury aspect to the retail environment. Textures are subdued allowing the visual merchandising to create the dominant mood.
