Shahnaz Husain was awarded the ‘Woman of Substance’ award by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Honours in February. The award recognizes her pioneering efforts in promoting Ayurveda internationally. Ambika Soni, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting presented the award at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.
Started in the 1970s, Shahnaz Husain heads a chain of more than 400 franchise salons in India and abroad, with more than 350 Shahnaz Husain products.
