Shoppers Stop has opened its store in Mantri Square mall at Bengaluru. It is the third store of Shoppers Stop in the silicon city, which is spread over an area of 42,698 square feet.
Further, the company has also revealed the opening of Mothercare store at Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. With the opening of this store, the company has now 25 Mothercare stores with eight stores on standalone and 17 shop-in-shop stores.
With the launch of new store in Bengaluru, now Shoppers Stop has 30 stores present in 13 cities including Mumbai (eight stores), Delhi (three stores), Kolkata (three stores), Bengaluru (three stores), Hyderabad (three stores), Jaipur (two stores), Pune (two stores) and one store each in Gurgaon, Chennai, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Noida and Amritsar.
The next upcoming store will open at Venus Square mall, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, by end of March 2010, confirms Govind Shrikhande, president and CEO, Shopper’s Stop Limited.
