Haier, one of the largest home appliances and consumer electronics brands, recently expanded their reach by opening one Haier Experience Centres in Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. The Ahmedabad store is spread over 750 sq.ft while the two Bengaluru stores occupy retail space of 500 sq.ft and 250 sq.ft.
“We have nine Haier Experience Centres in India and very soon we will open 100 more. Currently, we have 4,500 outlets in shop-in-shop format in India,” Shanta Roy, head, Marketing, Haier Appliances India tells IndiaRetailing.
Eric Braganza, president, Haier Appliances, says, “These areas, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, represent one of the most important markets for us and in future we plan to expand our reach by opening similar experience centres across other markets in India. These opening are the part of pan India strategy to strengthen our presence at the retail level.”
