It has been a long and eventful journey for Titan Industries, a Tata Group company. And now, to commemorate the completion of its 25 memorable years as one of the leading watch makers in India, Titan has opened a watch experience zone at Hosur near Bengaluru.
Established at the place where Titan’s first watch was born, Titan Experience Zone (TEZ), housed inside the ‘World of Titan’ store at Hosur, offers a unique experience to visitors by making them a part of Titan’s journey till date.
"Titan has completed 25 years of proud leadership in the watch industry. Several million consumers in India love and wear our watches today. We are sure this spectacular journey through our history will enthrall them," says Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Industries.
Open to visitors between 10 am and 8 pm daily, TEZ, spread over 350 sq.ft, gives visitors an opportunity to know the concept behind the creation of each of the 24 “milestone” watches on display with just a touch. It also houses an art gallery, where artists display creations inspired by the theme of time.
TEZ has five experiential areas — Immersion, Reflection, Engagement, Conversation and Delivery. In each of these areas, visitors discover for themselves interesting facts about watches, relevant insights about time and inspiring details about Titan.
In addition to this, a 3D animated hologram of the award-winning Edge wrist watch shows the manufacturing process involved in the making of a watch and high-precision watch components through a special microscope.
