Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. plans to announce few more acquisitions in the segment of personal care, haircare and household products in this financial year. Chairman Adi Godrej was quoted as saying, “Company is looking at several acquisitions and hope to announce sometime soon in this financial year, depending on how the negotiations go”.
Godrej Properties, which is the group’s real estate arm, has recently sold shares in an IPO and is also looking at 15 more joint venture projects to come up in its area in the near future. The company also aims to raise its advertising expenditure by about 25 percent. However, this will not affect the product prices.
