Renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is all set to launch his flagship store in Mumbai. To be opened on July 1, the interiors of the 2,000 sq.ft store, located at Kalaghoda in Mumbai, are inspired by old-world glamour and the designer’s travels. Sabyasachi already has a store in Delhi and will be opening one more in Kolkatta soon.
Along with women’s ready-to-wear collection, the store will offer a wide range of bridal and trousseau, jewellery, footwear, accessories and menswear.
The Mumbai store will also see the launch of ‘Save a Saree’ initiative – a capsule collection of bespoke hand-woven sarees curated by Sabyasachi.
The initiative aims at reviving hand weaving and translating the craft into popular culture.
