Tie Rack, a London-based international specialist accessories retailer present in India in association with Genesis Colors Pvt Ltd, is seeking rapid expansion.
In an exclusive interview with IndiaRetailing, Jyoti Narula, MD, Genesis Colors, says, “Since November 2009, Tie Rack London has established stores in all four metros. It has been a year since we have scouted premium locations in all key cities in order to expand the brand presence. Ludhiana came up as a very viable option, considering the purchasing power of the people and the rapid pace of infrastructural growth."
Tie Rack London currently has seven stores and is planning to add another store in Kolkata and one in Ludhiana in the next two months. The company has also tied up with Emke Group to distribute Tie Rack London products through premium Lulu outlets in Dubai. "In the UAE, products would be initially available through the SIS format and will be followed by standalone stores in premium malls and airports across the UAE," Narula reveals.
