Basecamp has recently opened its first Chennai store, at Express Avenue Mall. Spread over an area of 1,000 sq.ft, the new store offers various travel solutions under one roof. The store caters to an array of travellers – adventurers, business as well as leisure travellers.
On the launch of the new store, Anish Goel, MD, Basecamp, said, “With the advent of Basecamp in Chennai, we are establishing our presence in southern India. Indian consumers are aware of the different product offerings and need variety and smart options to choose from; this holds true for travel gear as well. We have identified this trend and created a first-of-its-kind travel solutions store.”
Stressing that Basecamp is well-equipped to cater to the needs of travellers, Goel said, “A visit to the store will inform a traveller about the accessories that are needed on a journey to make it a comfortable experience.”
Basecamp is a multi-branded outlet providing various travel gear products. It houses world renowned brands such as Victorinox, Travel Gear and Outsider, among others.
