The stores – strategically located at CG Road (750 sq.ft), Prahlad Nagar-Camps Corner 1 (1,200 sq.ft) and Mani Nagar Char Rasta (550 sq.ft) – are expected to cover the city’s growing needs for lifestyle eyewear.

On the launch of the stores, Sarat Binani, MD, Himalaya Optical, said, “With our foray into Gujarat, we want to strengthen our market share in the western region. The wide range of national and international brands of frames and sunglasses will cater to different tastes of the people of Ahmedabad. Seeing the response in Ahmedabad, we also have plans to expand our network in Rajkot, Baroda and Surat. We intend to contribute to the rapid development of the state by offering the best in eye care services.”

The exclusive stores in the city will house an array of frames and sunglasses from over 500 brands and 1,000 styles designed by renowned names in the world of eyewear such as Cartier, Montblanc, Prada, Bulgari, D&G, Tommy Hilfiger, Oliver Martini, Hugo Boss, Tag Heuer, Ray-Ban and Vogue, among others.

The company says that in keeping with the brand’s unique attempt to offer unique yet customer-friendly services and programmes, the stores have been designed to make the customer feel completely convinced and satisfied while walking out of the store.

All the three stores will offer unmatched digital eye-testing facilities by trained optometrists and lens consultants trained at the state-of-the-art Himalaya training and dispensing centre.

The stores also have an exclusive kids’ section and a dedicated sunglass gallery for the comfort and convenience of customers.
