Germany-based Symrise, has substantially expanded its fragrance production capacity by installing two new mixing and dosing facilities for perfume oils in Holminden, Germany. This expansion will make Holzminden the prime production site for perfume oils for the entire EAME ( Europe, Africa, Middle East) region. With the inception of this unit, approximately 30 new jobs will be created by the company. Symrise meets around one third of the worldwide demand for perfume oils (produced in Holzminden) that are used for fine fragrances, bodycare products, detergents and household cleaners. “The expansion of our perfume oil production underscores the great importance of the Holzminden site for Symrise,” says Dr Heinz-Jurgen Bertram, CEO, Symrise.
